Zachery Shields Obituary, Resident Of Oklahoma City Has Died – Death Cause

Zachery Shields Obituary, Death – Zachery Scott Shields, who was more affectionately known as Zach, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with his family by his side. Zachary Scott Shields was known as Zach. Gary “Scott” Shields and Rusti Ann Shields are his parents, and he is their son. On February 10, 1990, Zach was greeted by his parents and the rest of the world when he entered the world. Zach was always bubbling over with life and liked a wide variety of activities, but when asked what his primary interest was, he said, “GUNS” (which included making firearms, cleaning guns, shooting guns, and collecting bullets).

Additionally, he enjoyed bow fishing, hunting, and being outside in nature. On July 29, 2022, Zach and Lexi tied the knot in the city of Muskogee, Oklahoma, marking the beginning of their new life together as a married couple. Zach’s relationship with his wife, their son Rhett Neal, and the rest of his family and friends was the most meaningful part of his life.
When Zach was spending time with his son, you could see a smile spread across his face. Oh, and the Fourth of July was his favorite holiday, which, given his passion for firearms, is something you probably wouldn’t have guessed.

Zach cherished anything that made a “BOOM” sound. Everyone who knew Zach was aware that he was an extremely bright man, and many of his close friends considered him to be a walking encyclopedia, particularly on firearms and gun laws, boats, trucks, tractors, and even DOT laws and regulations. Zach will always be remembered as the “King” of overkill; when he did something, he did it “BIG” from the dog house, to the boat engines he built, his truck, and even the lawnmower. Duck hunting was also one of his favorite hobbies, especially when he was with his best buddy Dex (his chocolate lab).

Duck hunting was also one of his favorite activities, especially when he was with his best friend Dex. His life was influenced by a great number of people, but his grandfather was particularly influential. Zach’s childhood was spent feeling most secure while he was sitting on his father’s lap, and Zach credits his father as being the person who has had the most impact on his life. That was the deciding factor in our decision to give our son his name.
