We are keeping the family in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time. On April 15, 2019, William “Bill” Oakley, who was 84 years old and lived in Henderson, Kentucky, passed away. Before he did, his daughter Amy Badham, his parents Carlos and Maggie Oakley, two sisters Mesia Riggs and Emily Pollard, and one brother-in-law named Bill Riggs all went away. When he passed away, he was the sole surviving member of his family.
His parents passed away before he did in this life. Because Bill specifically requested that there be no service, there won’t be any. Donations are one kind of financial support that are gratefully accepted at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home has been given the responsibility of making the necessary arrangements.
