Wendy Hinman Obituary, Death – Mr. Hinman was born in Hays, Kansas on December 16, 1932. His parents, Ralph and Mabel (Plotner) Hinman, were his parents. He had spent his entire life in the Ness County area of Kansas. He was a farmer and graduated from McCracken High School in 1950. McCracken High School is located in McCracken, Kansas. He was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church in Rush Center, Kansas, as well as a member of the Hope Lutheran Church Council. He was also a member of the McCracken Country Club and the McCracken Library Board, both of which are located in McCracken, Kansas.
The wedding took place in Hope Lutheran Church in Rush Center, Kansas, on September 18th, 1952, and Gladys A. Wagner was the bride. The following people are counted among his survivors: his wife, Gladys A. Hinman, who lives in Brownell, Kansas; three sons, Greg Hinman (wife Sheila), Lewis, Kansas, Larry Hinman (wife Ellen), Lenexa, Kansas, and Wade Hinman, Kansas City, Kansas; two daughters, Lynne Hinman-Reckling (husband Frederick), Las Vegas, Nevada, and Laura (husband Ray) Wierman, Bennington, Kansas; 11 grandchildren; four
His parents passed away before he did in this life. The Janousek Funeral Home in La Crosse, Kansas will be open for visitation on Sunday, May 3, 2015, beginning at 4:00 P.M. and continuing until 8:00 P.M.; the family will be there to greet friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. There will be a time of prayer at seven o’clock. Visitation will be held at Hope Lutheran Church in Rush Center, Kansas, on Monday, May 4, 2015, from 9:30 A.M. to 10:20 A.M.
At 10:30 in the morning on Monday, May 4, 2015, there will be a funeral ceremony held at Hope Lutheran Church in Rush Center, Kansas. Pastor Laura Smith will preside over the service. The interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2015, in the McCracken City Cemetery, which is located in McCracken, Kansas. Donations in his memory may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church in Rush Center, Kansas; the McCracken Library in McCracken, Kansas; or any organization of the donor’s choosing.
