Ulysses Hansel Obituary, Death – Ulysses “Nik” Nikolas Hansel III, who resided in Peyton, Colorado, passed away at his residence on May 9, 2023. He was 34 years old at the time of his death. It was in the city of Killeen, Texas, on January 20, 1989, that he made his debut into the world as the offspring of Ulysses Hansel II and Sharon (Rowe) Hansel.

2007 was the year that he graduated from Linton Stockton High School with his high school diploma. He went on to become a veteran of the United States Marine Corps after enlisting in the military and serving in that branch. He was honorably discharged from the military in 2019 after having served his country for a cumulative total of nine years. During his tenure in the military, he was employed in two different capacities: the first was as a data systems administrator, and the second was as a martial arts instructor. Coming to the gym, spending time with his family, and being of assistance to his nieces and nephews in any way that he could were all activities that brought him a great deal of joy.

His family includes his mother, Carolyn Duncan; his father’s mother, Margaret Wright; his siblings, Nakita (Ryan Ottilie) Hansel of Indiana, Kelsey Hansel of Indiana, Margaret (Chris Henry) Hansel of Illinois, Brandi (Josh) Flowers of Texas, and Joel Gross of Oregon; his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Duncan; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Wright; his nieces and nephews, Bretni, Jaiden, Syd Prior to his passing, his maternal great-grandfather Larry Wright, his niece Alexya, and his brother John S. Wynn all went away. He was the final surviving member of his family.

On the afternoon of Friday, May 26, 2023, at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton, there will be a gathering to remember the deceased beginning at one o’clock in the afternoon. On Friday, there will be a visitation beginning at eleven in the morning at the funeral home, and it will continue until the time for exchanging memories, which will take place at three in the afternoon.
