Tom Packer Obituary, Death – The Dickens Festival would like to extend its most heartfelt condolences to anyone who may be suffering loss as a result of the passing of our dear friend Tom Packer. He was a cherished member of the Dickens community. The sad story of Tom’s passing was just recently shared in the media, and as a direct result, those attending the Dickens Festival are now aware of it. Over the course of more than 40 years, he has been an integral part of our celebration, and the absence of his presence will be keenly felt by a sizeable number of people for whom this has a great amount of meaning. He has been with us for more than 40 years.
In addition to that, he has been a key figure in the development of our town. We will never forget the stories he told, the sparkle that was always in his eyes, and the delight that he brought to so many different families over the course of the preceding many years. His stories will live on in our memories forever. We will all miss him very much here at the company. Everyone will grieve his passing in their own unique ways.
At this organization, every single one of us is going to miss him very, very much when he leaves.
