Tammy Ehlers Obituary, Death – Notification of the death of Tammy June Ehlers, who was 65 years old when she passed away on May 14, 2023, did so in the comfort of her own home in Enid, Oklahoma. Tammy Scoles was the only child to be born into the Scoles family. Elwood and Jacqueline were her father and mother. In the year 1958, on January 17th, she came into this world in the town of Vandalia, Illinois.
She moved to Oklahoma with her family in June of 1967, when she was nine years old. At the time, Oklahoma was a new home for the whole family. Since then, she has continued to call that place home. She attended Hennessey High School in Oklahoma and graduated in 1976, earning her diploma there. Working in lumber yards was how she spent the majority of her adult life financially supporting herself.
Everything began off at Hennessey Lumber and then moved on to Hughes Lumber in Enid after that. She hung up her apron at Hughes Lumber on December 31, 2022, and then retired the following day.
She wed Earl Ehlers, a native of Lahoma, Oklahoma, on October 14, 2000, and the ceremony took place in Oklahoma.
Her sister Cindy Guffey, her father Elwood Scoles, her mother Jackie Scoles, and her husband Earl all predeceased her. Her husband Earl predeceased her as well. Her life was snuffed out in a senseless accident.
Tammy is survived by a huge number of nieces and nephews in addition to her sister Beverly Scoles, who resides in Cleveland, Oklahoma; her brother Kenny Scoles and his wife Jackie, who is in Bartlesville, Oklahoma; her brother Wyatt Scoles and his wife Debbie Scoles, who resides in Hennessey; and her other siblings.
