Talia is an incredible example of what it means to be a heart warrior because, despite the fact that she is only 13, she possesses an astounding amount of bravery, fortitude, and heart.

The funds that have been raised will be given to Talia’s family in the hopes that they will help ease any financial hardships that the family may be experiencing and/or that the funds will be used to make Talia’s final days as peaceful as is humanly possible within the scope of what is possible for humans. Talia has been a huge source of both motivation and inspiration for her throughout the few years that she has been alive, and she has cited Talia as a vital source throughout that time. It is amazing that she has been able to have a cheerful attitude in spite of the fact that she has had to endure a total of six open heart surgeries, more than 20 catheterizations, and in-utero cardiac surgery prior to her being born. It is incredible that she has been able to accomplish all of this despite the fact that she has had a substantial number of surgical procedures. Her resilience and perseverance are truly inspiring.

The family has come to the conclusion that a scholarship fund in Talia’s name should be established, and they intend to use some of the profits to make this a reality by spending some of the money on the fund.
