Sandra Moore Obituary, Death – Sandra “Sandi” Moore, 67, a resident of Milan, Ohio, died away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, with her family and friends by her side. She was born in Torrance, California on August 27, 1955, however she spent much of her childhood in Davenport, Iowa. Sandi attended Davenport West High School and graduated in the year 1973. She received her education at Scott Community College and subsequently found employment with the City of Davenport after graduating. Sandi enjoyed spending time with her family, her closest friend Vickie Norman, and her cherished dog Max.
She also enjoyed watching movies and her favorite television series, as well as conducting research into the historical origins of her family. Sandi had a strong ear for music and was creative in the areas of crafts, painting, gardening, and writing in addition to having a good ear for music. Although she enjoyed going to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, the vacation she took to Hawaii is the one that sticks out in her mind the most. Sandi is survived by her daughters Carri (Russ) Williams, Candi (Doug) Travis, and Ami Keller (and their children), her grand-girls Madison.
Calista, and Ella, as well as her honorary daughter Jody Jorgensen and her siblings Terri Walz, Steve (Julie) Richters, and Robin (Keith) Lamp. Sandi’s parents, George and Linda Richters, as well as her spouse Kevin Moore, her sister Brenda Voss, and her husband all passed away before her. The family has carried out Sandi’s request that her body be donated to science in the form of an organ donation. Sandi expressed her hope that conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary illness and multiple sclerosis will receive further research.
