Samantha Coor Obituary, Death – While growing up on the family farm outside of Eagle as the firstborn child of Les and Marcia Corr, Brian was instilled with the importance of putting in long hours of labour. He started his education at Eagle Elementary School and continued it at Waverly High School, where he graduated in 1984. During his senior year of high school, he took part in the cooperative education programme at Sutherland Lumber Company and worked there.
This was despite the fact that Brian had no prior experience in the mailing industry. Brian remained in the driver’s seat during the company’s meteoric expansion, all the while willingly taking on extra duties. He started off as a worker in the bindery and gradually worked his way up to become the production manager, and then the Vice President of Operations. Over a period of more than 23 years, he oversaw all of MWI Direct’s operations.
After completing his education, he continued working there and eventually advanced to management positions. After some time had passed, he made a career change and began working in the printing sector. In the bindery, Brian’s training began with learning how to operate the stitcher. Even though Brian had no prior experience in the mailing sector, he was entrusted with integrating the two businesses when the company expanded by adding a lettershop.
He put through long hours without uttering a single complaint. The feeling of accomplishment that came from a job well done was very important to Brian, who took great pride in his profession. Fishing, going to auctions, and watching Nebraska Cornhusker football games were some of Brian’s favourite things to do in his spare time.
