Roland Tobler Obituary, Death –Roland W. Tobler, a devoted husband, father, grandpa, and brother who was 71 years old and originally from Eldred, Pennsylvania, passed away in Buffalo, New York on May 22, 2023. He was the son of Roland R. Tobler, who passed away, and Gladys Williams Tobler, who was also deceased. He was born on August 11, 1951 in Thaul, Switzerland. Roland is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years.

Roland was a man who was interested in and passionate about a wide variety of things. He had a profound respect for both music and art, and he frequently took his family to see live performances and visit art galleries. His passion for the creative process carried into his professional life, where he earned a reputation for his forward-thinking designs and meticulous attention to detail. In addition, he was a Jehovah’s Witness, and he drew much solace and contentment from his faith throughout his entire life.

Mary (Kamery) Tobler; his children, Dana (Jay) Drozd, Chris (Collette) Tobler, Kim (Tony) Aguirre, Abigail (Ronnie) Fitch, and Roland (Alyona) Tobler; his grandchildren, Devon, Cole, Antonio, Garrett, Leilah, and Oliver; and his brother, Kenneth (Missy) Tobler; also many nieces and nephews. His parents, Roland R. Tobler and Gladys Williams Tobler, as well as his former wife and mother of his three children, Linda (Joe) Borello, passed away before he did. Dana, Chris, and Kim Tobler were her children.

He earned his education at St. Luke’s School for Boys in New Canaan, Connecticut, where he formed a strong foundation for his future undertakings. He went on to achieve success in a variety of fields after graduating from the school. After receiving his diploma, Roland went on to establish himself as a highly successful businessman. During those 25 years, he was the proud proprietor of Tobler Tonneau and Canvas in Eldred, Pennsylvania. He was able to establish a successful enterprise that provided for his family and was beneficial to the community as a whole as a result of the commitment and effort he put into it.
