Roger A Siter Obituary, Roger A Siter Has Passed Away – Death Cause

Roger A Siter Obituary, Death – The Reverend Roger A. Siter, who was 76 years old and originally from Lake City, passed away on Thursday afternoon, May 18, 2023, at the Haven Hospice – E.T. York Care Centre in Gainesville. He had been battling an illness for a short period of time before his passing. Charles Miller Siter and Catherine Falkner Siter, both of whom have now died away, welcomed their son into the world on June 13, 1946, and he was born in Hudson, New York.

After moving here from the Hawthorne/Gainesville, Florida area thirty years ago, he has distinguished himself as a veteran of the United States Air Force and has established himself as a permanent resident in the Lake City area. He has been a preacher for the greater part of 42 years, and throughout that time he has served congregations in Hawthorne and Lake City. More specifically, he has been the pastor of the Victory Assembly of God in Lake City for about 30 years.

Fishing, his family, and his faith all held a special place in his heart. In addition to this, he took great pleasure in making other people smile and laugh, and he insisted on cutting the grass at the church even though he didn’t particularly care for the activity himself. Patricia Siter, his wife of more than 48 years, and Gloria Siter, his sister, both went away before he did. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. His children, Tom Siter (Bridgett) of Salem, Alabama and John A. Siter (Lori) of Hawthorne, Florida, as well as his daughter, Tricia L. Siter, are among those who carry on his legacy.
