Richard Short Obituary, Death – The members of our family said their final goodbyes to a really wonderful man yesterday. Richard, my stepfather, passed away recently, and his family and friends gathered together to celebrate his life and pay their respects. My father and my mother have brought up not only me but also my three sisters, as well as my stepbrother, ever since I was ten years old. Despite the fact that I have two biological fathers, I have never in my life referred to him as my stepfather.

Not once. Because Richard was such a good-natured person, none of his acquaintances, members of his family, or coworkers ever found a single negative thing to say about him. He was capable of a tremendous amount of affection, and he focused all of his love and attention on his family. When I was a young teenager, he suggested that I start an apprenticeship in the electrical trade because he assured me that if I did so, I would never be without a work. He stated that if I did this, I would never have to worry about money.

I did give consideration to what he had to say, and despite the passage of time, I have never stopped being appreciative to him for what he said because it was totally accurate. Not only did he leave us all with memories that will last a lifetime, but more importantly, he left a family who loved him very deeply and was very devoted to him. May you eventually find the peace you seek, Richard.
