Paul Thomas Obituary, Death – When we found out that Paul Thomas had passed away, it was with a sad heart that we did so. Paul was an amazing person and a real scooterist, and he had been coming to almost all of our events for as long as I can remember. Paul participated in the life of our community for a very considerable amount of time. It seems like every few months in recent times, a person that I normally see everywhere nationwide has passed away, and with their departure comes the loss of another key component of our way of life.

In recent times, this has happened more frequently than it used to. Tommo was most certainly considered to be one of such people. On a more individual level, I’m unhappy that we were unable to get together at Weston for the drink as scheduled, since I was looking forward to spending time with you there. During our talk after Woolacombe, I was touched by the fortitude he showed in the face of his sickness; he is an inspiration to all of us. Woolacombe is where I was first struck by his courage. We would like to express our condolences to Paul’s family, friends, and the Newport Dragons, who are such an important part of the scene down here that it won’t be the same without him.

We are sorry for Paul’s passing. We would like to express our condolences to Paul’s family and friends on your loss on behalf of everyone here at SWSC and on my own behalf. Another one of the lovely ones has died away, which makes me feel like I’ve been saying this much too frequently in recent times, but it’s the sad truth.
