After arriving on the scene, the authorities opened an inquiry into the unattended death. Miles Weaver was the name of the male victim who passed away. In addition, personnel from the Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI) rushed to the location.

During the budget hearings that took place a month ago in Los Alamos, the Los Alamos County Council reached a unanimous decision to support a drug K-9 program for the Los Alamos Police Department for the upcoming fiscal year.
