Mary Borne Obituary, 1 Killed, 5 Ejected in Two Vehicle Lafourche Parish Crash – Death Cause

Mary Borne Obituary, Death – After being expelled from their vehicle as a result of an event that took place early on Friday morning in the parish of Lafourche, one of the individuals who had been thrown from the vehicle was a youngster who unfortunately passed away shortly after. Mary Borne, who was 37 years old at the time, was allegedly driving south on Louisiana Highway 3235 in a Lincoln Navigator that was manufactured in 1999. She was making her way in the direction of the lane that traveled south.

At the time of the collision, Borne was operating a Ford F-250 model year 2011 and was attempting to make a turn onto West 54th Street. However, she did not properly yield to the vehicle that was approaching from the opposite direction, which led to the incident. As a result of the fact that none of the five people who were traveling in the Lincoln at the time of the event were wearing appropriate safety restraints, all of them were thrown out of the vehicle when it crashed.

Destiny Borne, who was 17 years old at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the site of the accident as a result of the injuries she incurred. Mary Borne, along with an adult passenger, two juvenile passengers, and another adult passenger, all sustained injuries that were deemed to be life-threatening and were transported to the hospital as a result. After the collision, both the driver of the Ford and the passenger in the vehicle were sent to the hospital with moderate injuries. These injuries required hospitalization. A toxicological test was performed on both of the drivers, and the results of both of those tests were then turned in for further investigation.
