Mark Rodgers Obituary, Death – Mark Rodgers has died. attended St. Mary’s University, Tanbridge House, Collyer’s College, and the University of Surrey for their education.
He worked at the Garment Center in New York, did errands in the Brill Building, drove a taxi all over Manhattan, sold his paintings at flea markets, and sold wigs, furs, and makeup for women out of the trunk of his car. All of these jobs kept him busy.
He did everything he could to provide for the family he cherished. In 1964, he wed the dark-haired beauty Nancy Landauer, whom he had glimpsed across the office one day and thought was stunning. They were together for the following 58 years after falling in love at first sight and never leaving each other’s sides. Both Fred and Steven arrived in the year 1978 after their respective debuts in 1969. They began in Queens and ended up in Seaford, having previously called Richmond, Newport News, and Seaford home along the way.
Mark was successful in the insurance industry for a number of years (he sold the first $1 million life insurance policy in the Commonwealth) and also owned a quick-service restaurant in Hampton called Flippin’s Fish & Chips. (He would vouch for the fact that his fried shrimp are the greatest on the Peninsula!)Dedicated and cherished husband of Jessica. Son who is loved deeply by his parents, John and Angela, as well as by a large number of other relatives and friends.
