Manny Ybarra Obituary, Death – Manny Adrian Ybarra, 28, of Andrews, Texas, died May 18, 2023, in Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, surrounded by family. Rev. Joseph Ogbonna will officiate at his memorial service at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews, Texas, at 2pm on Friday, May 26, 2023. Andrews North Cemetery holds the burial. McNett Funeral Home will have viewing on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church will host a 7:30 PM Rosary on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Isaiah Ybarra honorary pallbearer. Randy Wake, Ethan Lopez, Nicholas Sanchez, Jaime Guerrero Jr., Daniel Davenport, Jose Hinojos, Michael Salas, and Parker Grinslade are pallbearers. Manny was born September 30, 1994, in Andrews, Texas parents Rodolfo Adrian Ybarra and Melissa Lopez Garcia. Manny’s unusual blood disease didn’t define him. Manny lived for 28 years against a five-year prognosis. Despite his anguish and failures, Manny always smiled. Manny would find a way to accomplish what he loved if his disability hindered him. Manny was brave and daring. His condition never deterred him. He played several sports and extracurriculars in Andrews’ schools. Manny won academic prizes when his illness prevented him from playing sports. UTPB was his college and WTC, Inc. was his employer. Manny enjoyed coaching his cousin Nicholas Sanchez in his spare time. Fishing, sports, watching the Boston Red Sox, barbecuing, crawfish boils, and hunting with his father, Rodolfo, uncle, Randy, brother, Isaiah, and friends were also his hobbies. He loved yearly river floats with buddies. Manny was happy just hanging out with family and friends and enjoying life. He was a people guy who would help anyone and take a road trip anyplace. Manny loved his siblings, but he would always be there for them. He adored his grandparents, parents, and Diamond, his dog.
His grandparents, Mario and Cindy Lopez of Andrews, Texas, survive Manny. Melissa Garcia and Joe, his Odessa, Texas parents. Rodolfo Adrian Ybarra and Alexis, Andrews, Texas parents. Andrews, Texas brother Isaiah Ybarra. Sisters Aubrey and Ariana Ybarra of Andrews, Texas, and Deziree and Jocelynne Garcia of Odessa, Texas. San Antonio stepbrother Ben Garcia and Odessa stepsister Mayah Garcia. Aunt Yvonnie Tenorio and husband Rick, Midland, Texas. Andrews, Texas, aunt Amy Lopez and husband Randy Wake. Many cousins, great aunts, and great uncles will miss him. His grandparents, Rudy and Manuela Ybarra, and his dog Diamond died before him.
