Leo Cornils Obituary, Death – The unexpected nature of Leo’s passing has left me with a crushed heart. I am going to miss him so very much. He was without a doubt one of the nicest and most genuine people that I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. I will never forget our time together. Leo was never at a lack for a funny remark or humorous joke to share with you, and he had the unique capacity to make even the most challenging shifts more bearable. In addition to this, he has the ability to make even the most challenging transitions appear less daunting.

He was one of the first people who welcomed me to Milwaukee, and the joy that he brought to the nursing profession provided as a great source of inspiration for me in the early years of my practice. He was also one of the first people who introduced me to the Milwaukee nursing community. When I initially arrived in Milwaukee, he was one of the first people I saw that greeted me with a friendly face. He never elevated himself to a position of more significance than anyone else and went out of his way to assist people who were in his immediate vicinity.
