Larry Ryan Obituary, Death – His experience spans both sports. The majority of his fame can be attributed to the many years that he spent serving as the Secretary of the Club. A consistent and reliable member of the Executive Committee throughout the Club’s periods of growth, expansion, and success. Larry, along with Carmel, has been a supporter of and attendee at games spanning several decades, spanning every age group, code, and level.
These games have taken place all over the world. In addition to that, Larry has prior experience acting in the capacity of selector for both club and county teams. In 2015, Larry was honored with the status of Club Patron, and his photograph can now be found hanging in the club boardroom with great pride.

Following the news of Larry Ryan’s passing, many involved in the GAA community affiliated with Kilmacud Crokes are in a state of sadness. Fíor Gael & Club Legend. Larry, who was originally from Thurles but came to the area in 1961, was a well-known personality in the community ever since he made the move there. Since 1962, he has served in a wide range of capacities, including all officerships of the Hurling Committee, inter-county ticket allocations, and as a delegate to all County Board Committees, at both the juvenile and senior levels of hurling and football.
