Larissa Hornof Obituary, Death – On May 19, 2023, Larissa Lee Hornof passed away in the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. She was 72 years old at the time of her passing. Larissa Brooks, also known as Chauncina, was born on September 18, 1950 in the city of Los Angeles, California, to doting parents Vera and David Brooks. She was given the name Larissa Brooks at birth.
Larissa was known by a wide variety of names, including Friend, Chauncina, Mom, Grandma, and Sister Smiley. Many people called her by these names. It was inspiring to see how enthusiastic Chauncina was to share the gospel at each and every available occasion. Her irises sparkled brightly with an unbelievable amount of love, passion, and dedication. Her eyes were like a beacon.

She saw the world through the eyes of God and saw nothing but the best in people, places, and things no matter what the circumstances were. She looked at the world through the eyes of God. She was never present when somebody did anything she considered unethical. Everyone who was around her couldn’t help but smile and giggle along with her. People are reaching out from all over the country, but the story remains the same:

how she had an impact on the lives of a great number of individuals, how everyone was quick to comment on the positivity that radiated from her soul, and how nobody will ever forget her lovely smile and infectious laughter. People are reaching out from all over the country, but the story remains the same. On Friday, May 24, at eleven in the morning, there will be funeral services performed at the Blackfoot Stake Center.

On May 23, the family will have a gathering for friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hawker Funeral Home, and then they will do so once more at the church an hour before the services. On May 25 at 10:30 in the morning, the burial will take place at Veterans Memorial Park in Blackfoot, Idaho. You are invited to express your condolences to the family at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
