Kyle Metcalf Obituary, Death – Last night, my wonderful southern gentleman cousin Kyle Metcalf, who was taken from us in a senseless manner, was stolen from us. Today is a very difficult day for the Metcalf family in Arkansas, as they had to wake up to the devastating news that their loved one had passed away. A young man from Hammond, Louisiana was brought into jail on Saturday for allegedly carjacking and shooting a man who resides in Arkansas and was getting ready to celebrate his birthday, according to the police.
The victim lives in Arkansas and was getting ready to celebrate his milestone birthday when he was the victim of the robbery. Ladarrius Evans, age 18, was taken into custody by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office on the suspicion that he was the person responsible for the shooting death of Paul Holt, age 62. The sheriff’s office issued a press statement on Saturday morning around eight o’clock in the morning, indicating that officers responded to a complaint that a person had been shot at the Red Roof Plus in Hammond, which is located on Puma Drive.
The press release also stated that deputies proceeded to the location after receiving the information. When the deputies arrived, they found that Holt had been shot in the chest, and that he was suffering from the effects of that wound. According to the findings of the inquiry, Holt and his wife were getting into their SUV when they were robbed by a carjacker, who then shot both of them. According to the news release, Holt and his wife were challenged by a man who was armed and wearing a mask at the time of the incident. The suspect got into the car as Holt’s wife was sitting in the passenger seat, and he made an effort to drive away while she was in the front seat with him.
Evans apparently confirmed his guilt for the offense when he was confronted by law officials. As a consequence of this admission, Evans was brought into custody. In addition to this, it was discovered that he was in possession of items that belonged to the Holts, such as clothing, as well as equipment that he allegedly used to steal Holt’s vehicle and murder him. Specifically, it was determined that he had a knife and a hammer in his hands.
One of the guns that were discovered in Evan’s possession was a “ghost gun,” which is a semi-automatic handgun that has had a Glock switch added to it in order to make it function similarly to a fully automatic firearm. Evans was accused of first-degree murder, carjacking, possession of unidentifiable firearms, armed robbery while armed, and possession of a machine gun. He was also charged with armed robbery while armed. In addition to that, it was alleged that he committed the armed robbery while brandishing a weapon. The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted the arrest and took him into custody after the incident.
