Krista Hazlett Obituary, Death – Krista Hazlett has died She had been sick for one whole year. Melvin H. Hazlett had passed away on April 3, 1994, and Mrs. Hazlett became a widow as a result. She was the daughter of Elva A. Stepp Rossey and Mr. Rossey, and she was born on October 29, 1925 in the town of Brackenridge. She received her diploma from Har-Brack High School in 1943 and has spent the entirety of her life in this region. In addition to her role as a homemaker, she worked at the G. C.

Murphy Company as an assistant manager for a total of 20 years before taking early retirement in 1985. She was active in the First United Presbyterian Church in Tarentum, serving as a Deacon, singing in the church choir, and being a part of the Church Women’s Association throughout her time there. She enjoyed crocheting, hobbies, and cross stitching in her spare time, and she volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

Audrey cherished the time she got to spend with her offspring and grandchildren. In addition to that, she enjoyed tuning in to “her story,” The Young and the Restless, and the Steelers on television. Survivors include her daughter, Gail Hazlett Gilbert (Robert), of New Kensington; son, Alan Hazlett, of Arnold; six grandchildren, Robin Rushnock, Krissy Gilbert, Darcie Gilbert, Heather Gault (Randy), Brad Hazlett and Aaron Hazlett; nine great-grandchildren, Tyler Gault, Codi Gault, Carin Rushnock, Kaitlynn Wiles, Emma Wiles, Riley Hazlett, Baylie Hazlett, Krista Hazlett and Chase Hazlett; and many nieces and nephews.
