Kate Reynolds Obituary, Death – Esker “E.R.” Ray Conrad, Jr., 77 years old, a resident of Pinnacle, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House. He was encompassed by people who loved and cared for him profoundly on every side. E.R. Conrad was born on November 6, 1945 in Forsyth County, North Carolina, to the late Esker Ray, Sr. and the late Augusta Spainhour Conrad. Both of his parents had passed away before to his birth.
The family will receive guests at Slate Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, commencing at one in the afternoon and continuing until two in the afternoon. This event is scheduled to take place on May 24. Funeral services will be held at Slate Funeral Home on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 2:00 PM. He was a hard worker who took great pride in his role as a farmer and was committed to his family. After a successful and eventful career in the aviation sector, he took early retirement from Piedmont Airlines in the position of lead mechanic. King Baptist Mission was E.R.’s preferred place of worship throughout his life. Only his wife, Kathleen Fuquay Conrad, and their sons, Jacob Conrad and Lance Conrad, are present to pay tribute to his memory and continue the history that their family has carried on for generations.
The burial will take place in Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall, North Carolina, following the funeral that has been held there.
