Karen Spraggins Obituary, Residemnt Of Allegan Kalamazo Has Died – Death Cause
Karen Spraggins Obituary, Death – Karen Christine Spraggins, age 79, had previously lived in Allegan and Kalamazoo, both in the state of Michigan. She passed away on May 17, 2023, at the Grand Traverse Pavilions. Traverse City, Michigan, U.S.A. She was the daughter of Roslyn (Ross) and Vivian (Chandler) Gowens, both of whom passed away, and the wife of Cornell Spraggins, who also passed away. She was born on July 14, 1943 in Allegan, Michigan.
She didn’t do anything but enjoy the ride! During the course of her life, she had the opportunity to call a number of different places home, including Allegan, Kalamazoo, Paw Paw, Traverse City, and Alabama, to name just a few. Her time spent exploring the world with her late husband, Cornell, was one of her greatest joys. She was up for any voyage along the way and enjoyed the countless excursions to the Sugar Shack (also known as Grandma’s Cottage) as well as visiting family in distant cities or states like Utah and California. She was eager for any adventure that came her way. If you indicated that you wanted to take a vehicle journey or tour any region, she would be the first one in the car to comply with your request.
As soon as she arrived in Alabama, she moved in with her elderly relatives and began providing care for them. This continued for a number of years. During this time, she was able to prosper as a Jehovah’s Witness by sharing in the ministry and teaching to people about the kingdom hope that is found in the Bible. She devoted a significant amount of her time to assisting others in becoming better people and enjoying watching them grow in their relationship with Jehovah God and their devotion to Jesus Christ. First and foremost, her ability to love them came very naturally to her. The time she spent with them demonstrated that life was not always simple, as she assisted them in overcoming the challenges that they faced in life. She demonstrated throughout the years how one should respond when confronted with difficulties in life.
