Juanita Ownby Obituary, Death – Juanita Rhea Ownby, who had lived in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee all of her life and had reached the age of 80 when she passed away on May 21, 2023, had spent her whole life in the city. Juanita was a devoted member of the Hurst Chapel Baptist Church and never missed a service there in all of the years she was a member. While Juanita was employed by the Sevier County School System, one of the jobs that fell within her purview was working in the cafeteria at Pigeon Forge High School. Her predecessor has long since moved on to another realm.
I pray that God may bestow upon you the peace that your heart so desperately requires. Her sons Dennis and Randy Ownby, as well as each of their wives, are some of her surviving family members. Also surviving are her other children. In addition to her, her spouse is still alive. She is also survived by her daughter Regina Blizzard and her husband Robert, in addition to her grandkids Teddy Gene, Joanna, Roy, Daniel, Cindy, Chris, Suzanne, Amber, Andy (Julianna), Megan, Damon, and Jenny (Dustin).

She is also survived by her sisters Helen Marine (James) and Mary Alice McClure (Trixx); her sisters-in-law Myrtle Henry and Sue Watson; as well as cherished members of her church family and friends Isabella and Ella Mae. She was preceded in death by her parents. James, who was her spouse and the one who preceded her in death, passed away before she did.
