Joseph Araujo Obituary, Death – My husband, whom I referred to affectionately as both my Joe and my BABE, passed away suddenly after a protracted and arduous battle with sickness. Our marriage was marked by our affectionate use of both nicknames. The 19th of May, 2023 was the day that he passed away from his disease. He was a patient at the UC Health Greeley hospital at the time of his passing. That particular day was the one on which he passed away.
At that same time, he was encompassed by members of his immediate family on all sides. His son Joey H. Araujo Jr., his father Jess Araujo, and his mother Josephine Ponce all passed away before he did. All of these deaths occurred before he did. He was the only member of his immediate family that had made it through life. His wife Gloria Araujo, his brother Jess Araujo, and his sister Mary Araujo are the only living members of his immediate family now that he has passed away.
Visitation will be held in the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan on the evening of May 25 from four until six o’clock in the evening, and the Holy Rosary will be prayed at six o’clock in the evening. Both of these events will take place in the chapel. The chapel will serve as the location for both of these gatherings. The funeral service, which is also referred to as a Mass of Christian Burial, will be place on May 26 at 10:30 in the morning at Saint Helena’s Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. The service is known by both names. The memorial ceremony may also be referred to as a celebration of the life of the person who has passed away. I pray that God would grant you the serenity that your heart so desperately needs and that he will bestow it onto you.
