John Tovar Obituary, Death – This morning I received the sad news that my artist manager John Tovar had departed away abruptly and unexpectedly the night before. It is with a heavy heart that I share this information with you. Not only was he my manager, but he was also my closest friend across the entire organization. During the course of our time together of two years, he was able to teach me a significant amount of information.
Time spent in the studio spanning the better part of a calendar year. Someone who possesses such a great soul and a heart made of pure gold. I have never met anyone else who believed in me as wholeheartedly as this man did, and I don’t think I ever will. I am conscious that it will be necessary for me to continue my trip without him, and I believe that this is what he would want for me to do in this situation.
We were standing really in close proximity to one another. I tried to meet all of his requirements in the last few days of his life to the best of my ability. He exerted a lot of effort to ensure that I was able to achieve the same degree of success as the other skilled musicians and artists with whom he had worked in the past. He never stopped speaking out for me right up until the very conclusion of the process.
I won’t throw in the towel on the work that we’ve already accomplished together. I won’t. You, brother, have my love and respect. You will not be forgotten about at any time. You are going to be recognized throughout the ages as “the Music Man.” I have been driven to the point of complete and utter hopelessness.
