JoAnne Kingan Obituary, Death – We are very sorry to inform you of the passing of JoAnne Rae Kingan, who was a resident of the city of Hamilton, in the province of Ontario, and who had reached the age of 75 at the time of her passing. JoAnne passed away on May 16th, 2023, in the Hamilton Health Sciences Centre, which is a hospital in the city of Hamilton in the Canadian province of Ontario. On this date, JoAnne passed away after a long battle with cancer. Her parents, the late John Kingan and Blanche (Murray) Kingan, gave her life in Halifax, which is located in the province of Nova Scotia. She was given the name of her mother, who had passed away.

JoAnne will be much missed by many of her nieces and nephews, as well as by her sister Mary Lou Kingan, who lives in Parrsboro, and by her brother James (Susan), who lives in Springhill. Mary Lou Kingan and James will miss their sister JoAnne a great deal. Her siblings Margot Greenhow, John Kingan, and Deborah Kingan had all left the family home prior to her departure.
