The date and time are both subject to change. The timing of the memorial ceremony, as well as the day it will be held, are both still up for debate and have not been decided upon. The force of the Light of Christ, which he spread through his diaconal service and humanitarian activity, is a source of both consolation and inspiration for us as we go through this difficult time for him, and it is these things that we look to in order to help us get through it.
When we break the news to the members of Deacon Jim Satterwhite’s family and friends that he has passed away, we want to make sure that we express our most heartfelt condolences to each and every one of them in their own unique way. It had been ten years since he had last served in the capacity of Deacon at our church when he held that post the last time.
