Jeri Hartley Obituary, Death – It has been determined that Jeri Hartley has passed away. The viewing will get underway one hour before the start of the service that is going to be held. Jerry H. Hartley was the son of Olin H. and Cassie Wall Hartley, both of whom predeceased him. In Charleston, South Carolina, on June 28th, 1946, he was brought into this world. After graduating from North Charleston High School, he continued his studies at Baptist College at Charleston, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

He is now employed as a business administrator. Jerry is a veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. During that time, he was stationed in Vietnam. Up to the time of his retirement, he held the position of accountant for the Charleston County School District. In addition to his devoted wife Cherry, Jerry is survived by their children: daughter, Susan H. Moody and her husband, Raymond, of North Charleston, South Carolina; son, Michael B. Akins USAF and his wife, Leslie, of Mexico; daughter, Cerah H. Elkins and her husband, Chris, of Summerville, South Carolina; and nine grandchildren.
