Jeff Stocker Obituary, Death – Jeff Stocker has died. Marilyn K. (Roth) Stocker, his wife of 49 years and the woman he wed on August 4, 1973, is the only one who will carry on after Jeff’s passing. Also surviving are his two children, Jace William (Erin) Stocker of Idaho Falls, ID, and Megan Alane (Sean) Lyne of Gnadenhutten; six grandchildren: Ethan, Nicholas, Adam, and Olivia Stocker, and Charlotte and Gemma Lyne; mother, Phyllis Stocker, and siblings: Thomas R. (Tina) Stocker, Bryan A. (Julie) Stocker, and Brynne Ann (John) Sigg. William E.

Stocker, Jeff’s father, has already passed away before his son. On May 14, 1952, Jeff Stocker was brought into the world by his parents, Phyllis J. (Smyth) and William E. Stocker, at Twin City Hospital. He started his education in grade school at Gnadenhutten and continued it through high school at Indian Valley South, where he graduated with the class of 1970. After completing his education at Kent State University in Kent, Jeff moved on to pursue a career in the mining industry at Stocker Sand and Gravel, where he eventually became a mine foreman.

After some time, he moved on to establish Aggregate and Concrete Testing Services, and more recently, he became an investor and part owner of SmartWay Communications. Spending time with his grandchildren, working on the family farm, and being active in church allowed Jeff to have a devoted attitude toward both God and his family during his retirement years. Jeff is an active participant in the Winfield Community Church, the Ohio Concrete Association, and the Ohio Aggregates and Industrial Minerals Association.
