Jeff Dickman Obituary, Death – On Sunday, November 22, 2015, just after celebrating his 54th birthday with family and friends, Jeffrey H. Dickman, who resided in Ellington, passed away unexpectedly at his home. This occurred on the same day. On November 21, 1961, he was one of two sons to the late Herbert and Marjorie (Bertz) Dickman, both of whom predeceased him. He was born in New Britain.
He received his high school diploma from Plainville High School in 1979 and went on to study business at Central Connecticut State University after graduating from Plainville High School. He was born and raised in Plainville. At the time, he was working as a product sales representative for Electrical Wholesalers. Jeff wed the woman who would become the love of his life, Melissa (Vestal), in 1993, and the couple settled down in Ellington.
There, they delighted in hosting members of their family and friends on the deck, by the pool, or for their infamous Friday Wing Night. Jeff was well-known for his passion for music and was a great guitarist. In addition to his love for music, he enjoyed traveling the world, going to the beach, attending concerts, or cheering for the New York Giants, and he did all of these things with his cherished wife by his side.
Jeff’s zest for life was contagious; he made the most of every day and spread happiness wherever he went by savoring every moment to the utmost. Jeff was the glue that held his family together, and in the short time he was here, he genuinely made this world a better place. He will be terribly missed, and he leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured forever. In addition to his wife Melissa, he is survived by his sister-in-law Marianne Enes, his father-in-law Billy Vestal, and a large number of relatives, one of whom is his cherished cousin and closest friend, Darlene Vereneau.
