James Leamon Obituary, Death – On May 14, James Leamon, a retired UCC clergyperson who served First Congregational Church Verona and Maple Shade Congregational Church, passed away. He was a member of both congregations. He was a part of the congregations of each of these places. He was an active member of the local church community in each of these locations. It was not beyond his capabilities for him to carry out ministerial responsibilities at any of these two congregations. In each and every one of these locations, he was an active member of the local church community and participated in its life and activities.
The planned services have settled on the middle of July as the target date for the window of opportunity that they are attempting to take advantage of. This decision was made after careful consideration. We ask that prayers be said for the Leamon family, who have recently lost James, as well as for James’s wife Carol, who passed away during the course of the previous winter and spring. We also ask that prayers be said for the Leamon family, who have recently lost James.
During this challenging time, we ask that you continue to remember the Leamon family in your thoughts and prayers. In light of the current circumstances, the Leamon family asks that your thoughts and prayers be sent their way at this trying time. The Bible contains a proclamation that is said to have been spoken by God.
God is said to have said something like the following in this chapter: “And I will give you pastors according to my own heart that shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” If you are curious in this topic, the book of Jeremiah, chapter 3, verse 15, may be found right here. You can read more about it there. God has worked in advance to prepare the hearts of pastors so that they may have love in their hearts for the people of God. This enables pastors to shepherd the church with compassion and care.
