Hugh McNally Obituary, Hugh McNally Has Passed Away – Death Cause
Hugh McNally Obituary, Death – We are saddened by the passing of Reverend Hugh McNally on May 17, 2023; he was a member of our community. At eleven in the morning on Monday, May 22, 2023, there will be a funeral service held at the Wolfville Baptist Church, which will be followed by a reception. We give thanks to God for Reverend McNally’s long life of service in our communities, during which he served as the pastor of three of our CBAC churches, taught at Acadia Divinity College, consulted and assisted our denominational leadership during pivotal moments in our history, and led the Atlantic Society for Biblical Equality (among other things).
We are grateful to God for this. In addition, he and his wife Shirley spent fourteen years working as missionaries in India for the organization that is now known as CBM. During this difficult time, we ask that you join us in praying for Shirley and his family. Hugh Alexander McNally passed away without any suffering on May 17, 2023, and on that day he returned to his heavenly home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley; his children Heather McNally (Trevor).
Wanda Campbell (Ian), and John McNally (Catherine); grandchildren: Piper (Christian), Tilly, Esme, Rachel, Nathan (Grace), and Samuel; and great grandchildren: Finn, Joanna, and baby McNally who is expected to arrive soon. In addition to this, he is survived by his brothers Hazen, John (Judy), and Brian (Hannah), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, Wallace and Mabel McNally, as well as his sister Louise, passed away before he was born.
