Gary made the most of every opportunity in life. He was at his happiest when he was surrounded by members of his family and friends, particularly his wife and children. His favorite things to do were to spend the summers on Canandaigua Lake and his spare time hunting with his pals at the camp.
Over the course of his career with Fairport Little League and Perinton Youth Hockey, he earned a reputation as a respected and beloved coach among his players. He delighted in amusing others and making sure people around him were constantly in good spirits. His generosity had a profound impact on the lives of those he knew and loved, as well as on an incalculably greater number of people than we will ever be able to count. Everyone will miss Gary tremendously, both his enormous heart and his larger-than-life attitude.
