Douglas Lundberg Obituary Minneapolis-St. Paul MN, Death And Funeral

Douglas Lundberg Obituary, Death – Unanticipated problems led to Douglas Brian Thompson, age 65, of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, passing away on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, Minnesota. Douglas Brian Thompson was a resident of Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Doug Thompson was the sole child of his parents, S. Donald Thompson and E. Arlene (Waslie) Thompson, because they were unable to conceive any more children.

On February 20, 1954, he was brought into this world in the town of Cannon Falls in the state of Minnesota. In 1972, he received his diploma after completing his high school studies at Cannon Falls. After graduating from Dakota County Vocational School, he pursued a career in a number of different fields and held a range of occupations throughout the rest of his life. Doug had a deep love for all kinds of animals and found tremendous joy in working on automobiles, riding his motorcycle, and tinkering with his motorcycle.

He was the kind of person who was always telling a story and had a sense of humor that was a little bit outside the norm. Because of his altruistic attitude and the manner in which he put the needs of others ahead of his own, people will have a favorable impression of him. The faithful members of his family and the friends who were always there for him will suffer a great loss without him.

His parents, Don and Arlene, in addition to an infant sibling, had all passed away prior to his birth. He was an only child. He was the last and third child in the family, making him the youngest of the bunch. A memorial service honoring Doug will take place at the Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls on Thursday, May 23, in the afternoon, between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 o’clock.
