Dorothy Stroud Obituary, Death – On Friday, May 19, 2023, Dorothy Marie (Ritt) Stroud went away while in the presence of the Lord and surrounded by the affection of her family and friends. She was destined to spend all of eternity with the one who had saved her. The only person who will remember her is Karl Stroud, the man she had been married to for 59 years. Dorothy and Karl have been married for 59 years, and during that time, they have raised their four children, worked together to create their family farm, and served as witnesses for the Lord.

Her mother and father, George and Dorothy Ritt, both of Greenbush, Ohio, as well as her brothers Raymond (Geneva) Ritt and Gene (Phyllis) Ritt, were both gone before she was born. Her grandparents were also gone before she was born. Only her children, Sandy Stroud Hartman, Kevin Stroud, Lori (Jason) Steinbeck, and Karla (Robert) Dean, will remember her after she has passed away. They are the only ones who will carry her legacy forward. There are twelve grandchildren: Kelli Hartman, Kyle Hartman, Andrew (Anna) Stroud, Matthew (Stella) Stroud, Christopher (Kelsey) Stroud, Clinton Stroud, Timothy (Brittney) Smithson.

Ashley Smithson, Bethany (Michael) Hoffman, Kaitlyn (Logan) Johnson, Haley Dean, and Parker Dean. Kelli Hartman is married to Kyle Hartman, and Matthew Stroud is married to Stella. Both Kelli Hartman and Kyle Hartman are married, and Matthew Stroud is married to Stella. There are a total of sixteen great-grandchildren, and their names are Raynee, Xander, Phoenix, Nolan, and Lena Hoffman; Emily, Elaina, and Audrey Stroud; Carter and Kinsley Stroud; Kegan, Bailey, Bradlee, and Bodee Smithson; Carter and Kinsley Stroud; and Lucas Smithson and Leo Johnson. She is also survived by a sizable number of nieces and nephews, other relatives, people who took care of her, and friends of the family.
