Donna Munoz Obituary, Death – The name of a lady who had been fatally injured the previous week in a traffic accident in the Mission Bay region that also resulted in the death of a motorcyclist was made public on Monday by the authorities who were responsible for the investigation into the incident. According to the San Diego police department as well as the county Medical Examiner’s Office, Donna Munoz, who was a resident of Los Angeles, was a passenger in the front seat of a Toyota Prius that was involved in a collision with a Honda CBR600RR sport motorcycle on West Mission Bay Drive just before 9 a.m. on Thursday.
The man, who was 34 years old and whose name has not been made public, was riding the motorcycle when it was involved in the accident. Paramedics took Munoz to Scripps Mercy Hospital, but it was determined that she was no longer alive not long after she arrived at the facility. Another woman who was riding in the Prius was involved in the collision, and the police say that she got some minor injuries as a result of the incident. O’Brien claims that the male driver of the vehicle, who was 42 years old, together with the two teenage passengers, did not receive any injuries as a result of the accident.
The collision occurred just before 9 a.m. on Thursday. Officer David O’Brien of the San Diego Police Department believes that the collision occurred as the motorcyclist was trying to pass the Toyota Prius on the right just as the driver of the Prius was beginning to make a right-hand turn onto Quivira Road. At the scene of the collision, the man who was riding the motorbike was pronounced dead.
