Donald MacLachlan Obituary, Death – Donald Douglas MacLachlan, who resided in Durham, passed away suddenly on May 20th, 2023, in the 59th year of his life. His passing came as a complete and total shock. We are grateful that you have agreed to work with Patsy Bovingdon. Beloved father to Sheldon MacLachlan and his partner Cassidy Reay, Braedon MacLachlan and his partner Orianna Farr, and Landon MacLachlan. Adored stepfather of Paige Bovingdon, as well as Jessica Bovingdon and her boyfriend David Vanderploeg. Stepfather of Jessica Bovingdon and her partner David Vanderploeg. Additionally the stepfather of Jessica Bovingdon and David Vanderploeg, who are both David’s children.

Axel and Bohdi respect their grandfather in great regard. Everyone who knows him considers him a loving brother, including Jackie Pegelo, Joan and her husband Ian Pegelo, Ellen Nelson, and Toni Ingram. The partner of their daughter, Ken and Shirley Rodgers’ daughter-in-law. His nieces and nephews think of him fondly and cherish the memories they have of him. Before he was born, both of his parents, Angus “Cap” MacLachlan and Donalda “Donna” MacLachlan, had died away. It is now time to declare the cremation procedure finished.

A memorial service commemorating Lumpy’s life will be held at the Durham Legion on Thursday, May 25, at three o’clock in the afternoon. This event will take place in memory of Lumpy. After this, there will be a life celebration open to anybody who would like to attend from four to seven in the evening. At Durham Cemetery, the cremated remains were interred in a solemn ceremony after being laid to rest. As a gesture of sympathy, the bereaved family would value very much any contributions made in the departed person’s honor to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, or Diabetes Canada. These organizations would be the recipients of the donations.
