Demontae Marshall Obituary, 22-year-old Killed, 4 Injured in Downtown Louisville Restaurant Shooting – Death Cause

Demontae Marshall Obituary, Death – An altercation that occurred near a restaurant in downtown Louisville on Saturday night resulted in the death of one individual and the injury of four others. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office released the victim’s name on Sunday morning, revealing that he was 22 years old and named Demontae Marshall. Alicia Smiley, the spokesperson for the Little Rock Police Department, stated that First Division officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 11 p.m. on Saturday night in the 600 block of South 4th Street. This location is in close proximity to Sicilian Pizza and Pasta.

When the police arrived, they were told that a group of people were involved in an incident inside of a shop, which later spilled outdoors, where there was an exchange of gunfire, and five persons, including three men and two women, were shot. One of the victims had been recovered close at Third and Chestnut, and the other four were still present at the location when the police arrived.

All of the patients were transported to University Hospital, which is also the location where Marshall ultimately passed away. There is one more male patient who is thought to be in extremely grave condition. The remaining three suffer from wounds that are not considered to be life-threatening. Jeff and Chris Kopple, expressed their heartfelt sympathies to the victims of the shooting that occurred the previous evening. “The staff at Sicilian’s Pizza and Pasta would like to extend our deepest condolences to the victims of last night’s shooting,” the statement said. We are unable to provide any further information at this time due to the ongoing nature of the investigation being conducted by the LMPD.
