David Walkenbach Obituary, Death – An unfortunate turn of events occurred today when a first-year student at Edward’s County High School passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. David Walkenbach was sent to the hospital, but unfortunately, the severity of his injuries prevented him from receiving treatment there. He died as a result of his injuries. The West Salem School system is cognizant of the fact that this tragic occurrence has repercussions for the entirety of the local community.
Students at West Salem Grade School and the K-12 facility will be able to speak with counselors about their feelings of loss throughout the morning of May 23. These counselors will be available from nine in the morning until twelve in the afternoon. The family of David will need financial support in order to cover the costs associated with his funeral. The comment section will be updated with a link to the GoFundMe page shortly.
During this difficult time, we are lifting up David’s family and friends in prayer. I pray that he is at peace for all eternity. I hope and pray that you will also find peace in your life.
In addition, a child of 13 years old suffered critical injuries as a direct consequence of this catastrophe. I would appreciate it if you would continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers. It was first by helicopter that he was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville, Indiana; however.
He has since been moved to the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. In the box for reader comments, you’ll find a link to a GoFundMe page. If you are in a position to assist, please do so! (On my professional account, I am unable to message individuals individually unless they have initiated contact with me first. However, Bobbie, if you are in need of some money for food or gas, please contact me. I’m available to lend a hand.)
