Daryl Lacey Obituary, Doncaster Dragons Baseball Club Mourns Daryl Lacey – Death Cause

Daryl Lacey Obituary, Death – We regret to inform you that one of our Life Members, Daryl Lacey, died away yesterday. It is with great sadness that we share this news. Daryl Lacey played a significant role in the club’s induction of the Lacey family name into the hall of fame. Even though he was sick, Daryl was able to attend our past players day earlier this year and say hello to everyone. The performances from yesterday are ones of which he most surely would have been proud.

Our condolences and prayers are with the Lacey family during this difficult time. You’re going to be sorely missed, mate. Eldon and Lucille (Miller) Rackow welcomed their first child, Daryl, on January 16, 1952. He is the oldest of their five children, which also includes Cindy Rackow, Diane (Tom) Low, Laurie (Alan) Boeck, and Tim (Lisa) Rackow. On December 26, 1972, he wed Patricia Mick, and the couple went on to have four children: Jesse, Daniel (Courtney), Brandy, and Christopher (Rikkie Johnson).

Additionally, he had a large number of grandkids and great-grandchildren. The United States Army Reserves provided Daryl with the opportunity to serve his country. Throughout his life, he worked on the family farm alongside his father, drove both semi-trucks and milk trucks, and ran his own upholstery company called Turtle Upholstery. In addition to that, Daryl worked for the McConnell Fire Department as a firefighter. Later, on April 17, 2021, he tied the knot with Debra Golackson.

Daryl is left by his wife, Debra, four daughters, one of whom he refers to as his “favorite daughter,” as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His parents and grandparents passed away before he did. He was an only child. Memorial services are scheduled to take place at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Monroe, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM. On Saturday, May 6, 2023, there will be a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing up to the time of the services.
