Dan Montgomery’s Obituary, Death – The unexpected demise of Corporal Dan Montgomery over the weekend has left all of us in a state of profound shock and tremendous sadness. His dying came just after he had only recently resigned from his position, so it came as quite a surprise to everyone. As a result of his dying, all of us are in a state that can be described as both great disbelief and profound sorrow.
It was in the year 2016 when “Monty” made the decision to hang it up, bringing an end to a career that had lasted him for the preceding 22 years up until that point. During the course of his career with the department, he held a variety of roles, some of which include those of patrolman, School Resource Officer, DARE officer, and member of the section that deals with Community Oriented Policing.
