Dallin Thornton Obituary, Death Cause – On the morning of Friday, May 19, 2023, Dallin Thomas Thornton, age 8, from Blackshear, Georgia, lost his brave battle against Farber’s sickness and passed away at his home after a long and courageous battle. Even though he was born in Brunswick, Georgia on January 26, 2015, he spent all of his life in Pierce County. The date of his birth was January 26.
When Dallin was a younger student, he learned his fundamentals at the Blackshear Elementary School. Fishing, sharks, monster trucks, Nerf guns, swimming, goats, chickens, and the Georgia Bulldogs were some of his favorite hobbies, and he exemplified the stereotypical characteristics of a boy. He was also an avid swimmer. In addition to being a devoted family member, he was also his father’s closest confidante and cherished his own mother. Jesus held a very special place in Dallin’s life, and he looked forward to reading and listening to the stories in the Bible that were centered around the topic of fishing.
There is no shadow of a doubt in our minds that Jesus is at this very moment illuminating for him the most fruitful fishing grounds in the heavenly realms. He was a faithful member of the Walkerville Baptist Church and attended services there frequently. Survivors include his parents, Garrett Anthony & Telisa Jacobs Thornton of Blackshear; his sister, Kaylena Sudduth of Blackshear; his brother, Syler Jacobs of Blackshear; his maternal grandparents, Wayne Jacobs (Sarah Phelps) of Kingsland and Carol Briggs of Waycross; his paternal grandparents, Phillip Thornton of Blackshear, and Margaret Locklair of Kingsland; his girlfriend, Lakelynn Harris of Blackshear; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
