Claudia Bell Obituary, Death – A crash in Portsmouth, Rhode Island claimed the life of a woman from Middletown. An elderly woman from Middletown was killed in a car accident near Portsmouth after she hit a tree. According to the Portsmouth police, an elderly woman was one of the victims of a collision that took place on Monday evening. Despite the fact that the reason of the collision is yet unknown, the police in Portsmouth stated that it appeared that speed was a factor in the collision.

Claudia Bell, 69, of Middletown, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident that took place on Indian Avenue at approximately 7:15 p.m., according to the police. Claudia reportedly lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a tree close to Swan Drive, as reported by the police. Bell was sent to Newport Hospital, but she was pronounced dead there a short time later. The investigation revealed that she was the only one in the vehicle at the time of the collision, as reported by the police.
