Claude Bradbury Obituary, Death – On Friday, May 19, 2023, at his residence in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Claude Allen Bradbury, age 84, who had previously resided in Holden, Missouri, passed away in a restful state while sleeping. On August 1, 1938, he came into the world in Holden, Missouri as the sole offspring of his parents, Claude Thomas Bradbury and Peggy Louise (Clapper) Bradbury. He started his education at Holden High School, where he eventually graduated, and not long after that, he wed Patricia Ann Hampton.
Recently, the happy couple commemorated the 65th anniversary of their wedding. Mike, Debra, and Peggy are the lucky offspring of this great marriage that produced three children. Claude was a skilled carpenter who first began his career in the Holden and Kansas City area when he began constructing residential buildings. After relocating his family to Florida in the late 1970s, Claude spent the ensuing 21 years working as a home builder in Florida and the surrounding states, including several projects in South Carolina. After moving back to Missouri with his wife Pat, Claude continued to practice the profession of cabinetry up until the time of his death. He was a very involved Elder at the Community of Christ Church for a number of years and was a devoted member of the congregation there.
with addition to this, Claude was quite involved with the Lay Clergy in the city of Pleasant Hill, Missouri. He was a doting father and grandfather, and he always made sure that his grandchildren knew how much they meant to him. He cherished every moment he spent with them. Everyone who knew and loved Claude will feel a profound loss upon his passing. Madelyn Bradbury, Micah Bradbury, Wyatt Murdock, Zachary Selz, and Daniel Couch are some of the grandchildren he leaves behind. He is also survived by his special sisters-in-law Lorraine Rhoades and Nancy Jo Jennings and their husbands, as well as by a large number of cousins who are part of the Bradbury family.
