Caleb Jurgens Obituary, Death – A motorcyclist who was injured in an accident in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, passed away. A motorcycle accident that occurred on Sunday in Delaware County claimed the life of a Hopkinton teenager who was 15 years old. According to a complaint filed by the Iowa State Patrol, the incident took place at approximately noon on Sunday in the rural area located at 2800 of 310th Avenue.

On Sunday, a motorcycle and a vehicle were involved in an accident on X-47, which resulted in the death of a rural Hopkinton kid. It took place in the 2800 block to the north of Hopkinton shortly after 12 o’clock in the afternoon. The Iowa State Patrol asserts that Caleb Jurgens, then 15 years old, was traveling southbound on X-47 on a 1967 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a 2013 Ford F-150 pickup truck traveling in the other direction.

The motorcyclist, identified only as Jurgens, came to a stop on the road. The pickup truck ended up stopping in the ditch on the east side. At the site, Jurgens’s death was confirmed by medical personnel. Both the driver of the pickup, who was 24 years old and was from Epworth, Austin Schwendinger, and his passenger, who was 25 years old and also from Epworth, Kaitlyn Schwendinger, received minor injuries. According to the State Patrol, they were not taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The Iowa State Patrol is continuing its investigation into the collision that occurred. At the incident, assistance was provided by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, the Hopkinton Fire/EMS Department, the Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, and Tegeler’s Towing. According to the report on the collision, Caleb Jurgens was riding a motorcycle when he crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a pickup truck.
