Bud Lucas Obituary, Death – It makes my already broken heart even more so. Even as I compose these words, my mind is already racing forward to the many ways in which I will miss you. Bud Lucas, you used to be one of my best friends, and whenever you came over here, we would talk for hours and hours. I will miss you. Teresa was with me the whole time, and while we were out on the quads, we were given a tour of all of the trails; wheeling was a lot of fun.
I shall think of you rather frequently because you were like a breath of fresh air amid the celebration. This morning, I was given some information that no one wants to hear. I can tell you that. Someone who held a special place in your heart and with whom you shared virtually daily conversations has passed away. You will miss them terribly. You were one of the most hilarious people I’ve ever come across, and you had a talent for saying the stupidest things, which made it impossible not to laugh at what you were saying.
There were other occasions during which the two of us ended up sobbing from laughing so hard at anything. The sobs that were shed today were filled with a great deal more anguish. I’m going to miss chatting with you, friend. I hope to see you around. Your radiant grin belied the unimaginable anguish that you were going through at the time. You are free of all further agony. Brother, I’ll see you on the other side of this situation when we finally make it through it.
