Blayton Yelvington Obituary, Death – On Thursday, May 4th, 2023, Blayton “Kole” Yelvington, age 22 and a resident of Palatka, Florida, went tragically abruptly. The 10th of April, 2001 found Kole being born in St. Augustine, Florida, but he had spent his entire life in Palatka. He had a job as an electrician and particularly enjoyed his time spent at Millard Electric. Kole enjoyed life to the fullest by participating in a variety of activities, from the most mundane, such as fishing, shooting, boating, and simply hanging out with friends and family, to the most extreme, such as mosh pits and sky jumping. Kole was a devout follower of the Baptist religion.

Both of his paternal grandfathers, Doug Gaskin and John Varela, had passed away before he was born. His devoted companion Brianna Trotter, his mother Leann Gaskin (Mike Sheridan and children), his father Rick Yelvington (Trish Hilgerson and children), his sister Ashlynn Jade Yelvington, his brother C.J. Yelvington, and his three nephews Eli, Ollie, and Auggie Yelvington are among those who are left behind after his passing. Sandra Varela and Fran Williams, both of whom were his maternal grandmothers. His grandfather, Bobby Yelvington (Sue), and grandmother, Janet Barnhardt (Dennis), are his maternal grandparents. Nellie Stinson was his great-grandmother on his father’s side.

His aunt Renee Brown (also known as Charlie), his uncle Jesse Yelvington (also known as Nancy), and his cousin Sean Gaskin. Numerous cousins Kaitlyn Jones (Parker), Hayli Brown (Cory), Raylee Brown (Blake), Jaimy Yelvington (Sam), Nikki Yelvington, Evan Yelvington, Erika Yelvington, Jessica Yelvington, along with many more members of his family and acquaintances, including his best friend Jacob Brown. The memorial service will be place on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 10 AM at the Masters Funeral Home, with Brother Jeremy Rea serving as the officiant. In the immediate aftermath, interment will take place at the Palatka Memorial Gardens. You are welcome to send flower arrangements in lieu of donations to the Masters Funeral Home.
