Baine Connor Obituary, Death – We are sorry to notify you of the passing of our beautiful, honest, loving, and amusing father. On behalf of our whole family, please accept our sincerest sympathies. On March 18, 2023, Blaine Waverly Connors passed away at the age of 90 in the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home. His death occurred on a Saturday. Upper Blackville, New Brunswick was the location of his birth. His parents, Stanley Connors and Elsie (Arbeau) Connors, both passed away before he was born. Mildred (Beek) Connors, the loving woman with whom he had spent his whole life, went away before her husband.
He is survived by his children, son Doug Connors of Prince George, British Columbia, daughters Lillian Greene of Bloomfield, New Brunswick, Jackie Davidson (Glen) of Doaktown, New Brunswick, Wendy Connors of Fredericton, New Brunswick, and Bobbi-Jo (Luther Peterson Jr.) of Alberta; his siblings Irvine, John, Sandra, and Terry; and 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to his parents and wife, his children Susan, Tony, Lee, and Ralph, as well as his siblings Hilda and Lyle, all went away before he did. Also predeceasing him were his wife. Not only that, but he was preceded by his siblings. Throughout his whole life, Blaine was active in the Pentecostal church he visited regularly. In his past life, he worked as a truck driver and also as a fishing guide on the mighty Miramichi River. These days, though, he spends his time in retirement working in the woods.
He had a deep love for horses and the natural world around him, and he cherished time spent there. In all that he did, he exerted a tremendous deal of work, but his family was the thing that brought him the most happiness and satisfaction. He made a point to greet each and every one of his many friends with a kind smile and a joke, and he had a large number of friends.
